The summer is just about to finish. To be honest we have not really had a great summer this year. In full we have in all likelihood only had about 2 full weeks of good fair weather. I believe it was back in July when I took a walk to the sea front to take in some sights.

 

While I was walking I must of passed at least five or six different golf courses, you acknowledge the ones that are called crazy golf and you fundamentally hit the ball around objects. To my surprise all of these courses were literally full up to the brim. I mean there were literally queues and queues of people just ready and waiting to play a golf game.

 

So why is it so popular? Why do so many people want to play a game of golf when the sun is out? Well personally I believe this is due down to a few reasons. The main thing that this boils down to is exercise, when its hot people just get lazy. No one wants to be visiting the gym or playing a strenuous sport. So what better then to choose to play an unwinding game of golf.

 

But this is not the only grounds people do it, they also play golf so that they can stay out in the sunshine a lot longer and build up a bronze for themselves. Another argue is merely to keep the kids engaged; we are all aware that when it gets hot and muggy kids begin to get naughty and begin to play up. But a simple game of golf will not only keep them engaged, but it will also make them run around and lose some energy, so they will be too well-worn to begin playing up, which will make things a whole lot easier for you.
